The band was formed in November 2003, at the initiative of Alex G. Mihai. This project called Staccato, is a combination of classical music & different styles of heavy metal, beeing a continuation of what Alex had done before with a band called Colossaeum, with the Moldovan brothers Joane (bass) & Tiba (drums). The first lineup was: Alex G. Mihai - guitar & vocal, Alex Gheorghe - guitar, Bogdan Medre - drums, Imi Varga - bass, Sorin Fador - keyboards. The band had diferent concerts allong the period of time 2003-2004, in clubs and different manifestations, and after a year from the birth of Staccato, Alex "Dudu" Gheorghe, had left the band.

Staccato thanks to God for the special gift of playing music, our families, Mums and Dads, for all the love and support, to C.C.S. Petrosani and to Ms. Lavinia Hulea (thank you very very much !), to all that brought their help in any way possible, friends and enemyes, sponsors, and to all that we forgot !
